Fundacion Argentina María Montessori was founded in 2007. FAMM’s core focus is on supporting vulnerable communities. Since inception, FAMM has initiated 70 Montessori programmes, of which 38 are situated in vulnerable areas. Their goal is to provide nurturing environments for children's growth and to support adults through training and professional development. FAMM supports the establishment of prepared environments in such contexts, highlighting transformative outcomes and key lessons. FAMM is committed to supporting children in Argentina as a response to the urgent need for quality early childhood education and care: two-thirds of children reside in vulnerable settings, and only 30% have access to early education.
