Voices of EsF 2025 Programme
We are excited to announce the 2025 Voices of EsF Programme Insight toImpact: Montessori Principles as a Foundation for Change! The Programme consists of three live 80-minute Zoom sessions as well as recordings. The goal of the Programme is to equip participants with a deeper understanding of adaptation as a key Montessori Principle and the capacities needed to apply the Montessori Principles meaningfully in diverse community contexts. The programme supports participants in transforming insight into impactful, locally grounded initiatives by reflecting on the connection and potential of their knowledge ofhuman development and the communities’ knowledge of the local context, needs and opportunities.
Below are the dates and topics of the live sessions, which will each begin at 3:00pm CET:
- Friday, Sep 26th: Adaptation as a Key Montessori Principle
- Friday, Oct 24th: Building Relationships through Observing, Listening, and Communicating
- Friday, Nov 21st: Combining Knowledge and Observation to Contribute to your Community
The Programme is designed for an international group of people who support children and families to flourish in all kinds of communities and contexts. Together we will reflect on innovative application of Montessori principles and practice to support human development and build community. Participants are required to join for the complete series as the interconnection between the sessions is an essential part of the programme.
Participants who attend the live sessions are eligible to receive a certificate of attendance.

About the Programme
The purpose of Voices of Educateurs sans Frontières is three-fold:
Deeper Understanding: To deepen individual and collective understanding of essential Montessori principles and the broader social mission of Montessori.
Reflection: To support participants in observing and reflecting on the challenges of today’s world, the impact those challenges have on their community and the role of Montessori principles in addressing them.
Applicable Practice: To develop and encourage individual and collective knowledge of the innumerable possibilities, openings and opportunities for Montessori work in the world, and to acknowledge the power of one person to make a difference.
The format will facilitate the conversation to go from local to global, appreciating local differences but also emphasising the connection and interaction between local and global. Through the discussion groups participants can reflect on the questions from alocal perspective, allowing for a more in-depth conversation on local implications and opportunities. The final session will subsequently allow participants to relate their local experience to the global questions and compare their insights and experiences to those of other participants.
Structure
Live Sessions
Each live session will feature a brief introduction, pre-assigned working group discussions (with the same group members throughout the Programme), and a closing plenary reflection. The working group discussions are designed for in-depth idea exchange, collaborative exploration, and work towards shared goals which will form the central focus of each session. Discussions are based on selected recordings that will be provided to participants. The final session will conclude with an extended plenary discussion and reflection. Working group discussions will be guided by discussion questions provided by the EsF team.
Between Sessions
Participants will be provided with recordings from EsF's resource archive as well as newly recorded material to watch in preparation for each session. Participants will be granted access to a curated MightyNetworks platform to access all resources and to share reflections and insights with other participants.
