For the first time, we dove into EsF-minded projects already operating, as presentations were made by John Fullwinder, community organiser and civic activist; Dipika Lakhani, representing Corner of Hope, Kenya; Martha Urioste, representing Family Star, a programme providing bilingual Montessori education to children birth-6 in Denver; and Peter Hesse and Carol Guy-James Barratt, on behalf of the Peter Hesse Foundation’s Montessori in Haiti Initiative, which builds schools and trains teachers in Haiti, Côte d’Ivoire, and Senegal.
