Community Mobilisation through the Educator - A South African Story

Adre Shearer and Jasmine Jacob of the Indaba Institute talk about urgently tackling education inequality in South Africa through quality Montessori education provided by EsF's CoRE programme. Using fundamental Montessori principles and practices to follow the child, CoRE training cultivates a greater understanding of a child’s developmental needs and the co-construction of learning materials using local resources to prepare a low-cost, developmentally-supportive classroom environment that serves the needs of each, individual child in context.
